Dr Adelene Wong, BEng, PhD

Adelene is a Chemical and Biomolecular engineer and completed her PhD in Materials Science in 2017, after which she joined the Equine Orthopaedic Research Group. Adelene is enjoying looking at the various ways in which stride data may be utilised to predict injury, and is involved in a pilot project investigating if movement analysis using markerless motion capture could do the same.

She also manages (or tries her best to) the administrative aspects of the research group and, to a lesser extent, the hospital. Adelene is a certified Pilates instructor, though her fitness levels do not reflect this; and is fascinated by all things engineering and design.
