Chris has over 35 years experience as an equine veterinarian. He trained as a specialist surgeon at the University of Sydney where he also completed his PhD, developing a passion for research into limb injuries in athletic horses. Chris has worked at the Equine Centre since November 2004 where he established the Equine Limb Injury Prevention Program, a world leading multidisciplinary research program aimed at reducing injury rates in athletic horses. Chris has lectured worldwide and published over 70 scientific publications on equine orthopaedics and imaging.
